Hospital Bed

The Hospital bed is a one of the most common pieces of medical equipment. It should provide patients with comfort and appropriate support.

We designed modern hospital bed model using data acquired from finite element simulations. Analyses were conducted based on realistic statistical population data which allowed as to observe loads that occurs in everyday bed usage. We used gathered results to design and optimize the best geometric construction of the frame and the other components. The solution related to weight limitation and material usage optimization.
